The Rev’d Gavin Knight worked for Saatchi & Saatchi before reading theology at St Andrew’s University. Since training for ordination at Cuddesdon, he has served in parishes in Birmingham and London and then as Chaplain of Monmouth School. He has a post-graduate Masters Degree in Applied Theology from Oxford. Gavin is married to Jo, a clinical psychologist. They have three boys. Gavin is involved in creating a “threshold ministry” at St. Michael & All Angels, Summertown which means opening the doors of the church so that newcomers can enter as well as the church going out into the parish.

Charles has been appointed to be the next Vicar of Wolvercote and Wytham. His Institution and Induction as Vicar took place at a service in St Peter’s on Thursday 19 November 2015.

For the last 13 years he has been Vicar of Faringdon with Little Coxwell, in the Oxford Diocese. He completed his first degree at Durham University in 1980 and was ordained in Salisbury in 1988. Since 2013 Charles has been Area Dean for the Vale of White Horse Deanery.

Viv is a long-term member of St Peter’s and has served for a time as Church Warden. She was accepted for training for the Priesthood in 2002 and since her ordination as Deacon in September 2005 and subsequently as Priest has worked as part-time Curate here in St. Peter’s.

Pauline trained for ministry on the East Anglia Ministerial Training Course and at Westminster College, Cambridge. She was ordained at Summertown URC on 14th July 2007. From 1987 to 2005 she worked for two national ecumenical bodies, the Free Churches Council and Churches Together in England, principally on women’s and social issues. Earlier, she was employed in Braille Production at the Royal National Institute for the Blind, where she gained a commitment to disability issues and an interest in computers. Until recently Pauline has been a sessional chaplain at Holloway Prison, in London. She is currently a sessional chaplain at Bullingdon Prison, Bicester. In spare moments she enjoys watching sport, gardening and digital photography.
