The Rev’d Gavin Knight worked for Saatchi & Saatchi before reading theology at St Andrew’s University. Since training for ordination at Cuddesdon, he has served in parishes in Birmingham and London and then as Chaplain of Monmouth School. He has a post-graduate Masters Degree in Applied Theology from Oxford. Gavin is married to Jo, a clinical psychologist. They have three boys. Gavin is involved in creating a “threshold ministry” at St. Michael & All Angels, Summertown which means opening the doors of the church so that newcomers can enter as well as the church going out into the parish.

Sarah is Minister-in-Charge during the interregnum following the resignation of The Revd Charles Draper due to ill health. Sarah shares her time between the clergy team at Wolvercote and Wytham and chaplaincy at Wycliffe Hall where she completed a post graduate theological degree. She originally trained as a nurse in London, then spent many years in Christian ministry in Chichester with her husband Steve, initially in overseas mission then running one of the first Bishop’s Mission orders. She was ordained during this time. Steve and Sarah have five assorted children and live in Quainton where Steve is Vicar.

Pauline trained for ministry on the East Anglia Ministerial Training Course and at Westminster College, Cambridge. She was ordained at Summertown URC on 14th July 2007. From 1987 to 2005 she worked for two national ecumenical bodies, the Free Churches Council and Churches Together in England, principally on women’s and social issues. Earlier, she was employed in Braille Production at the Royal National Institute for the Blind, where she gained a commitment to disability issues and an interest in computers. Until recently Pauline has been a sessional chaplain at Holloway Prison, in London. She is currently a sessional chaplain at Bullingdon Prison, Bicester. In spare moments she enjoys watching sport, gardening and digital photography.
